Welcome to my website, I have been a DJ for some 25+ years (DJ Jules) and my business ‘Select Mobile Disco Hire’ is my professional, reliable, and friendly one-stop mobile disco service.
I am a professional DJ, playing at bars, clubs, private venues, parties and weddings for over 25 years, also playing every genre of music from easy listening, pop, rock, party floor-fillers, to house music and everything else.
I specialise in Weddings, Birthdays, Corporate Events, Clubs & Bars but also cover all other types of events. Fully Insured & PAT Tested
I am fully insured with a £10m PLI (Public Liability Insurance) cover, also all my equipment is PAT tested for electrical safety, most venues will ask for this.
I specialise in wedding discos (all day or reception only) which always include my meticulous pre-planning guaranteeing a seamless service on your big day.
I regularly work with corporate clients to provide DJ and disco entertainment for seasonal and specific events. Detailed planning is included for specifically required sound & lighting setups.
I provide DJ and disco packages to cater for all other types of parties, including birthdays, anniversaries, themed nights, seasonal events such as Valentines, Halloween , NYE & Christmas parties.

What is included in your disco packages?
All of my disco packages including a stylish DJ Booth, all necessary lighting including up-lighters, 2 x wireless microphones, and a professional sound system. In the case of wedding packages the customer will typically have more input on a style of booth, venue mood lighting, microphones and sound system options.
I do my own research, in advance, on venues that i am attending and will always supply adequate lighting and an appropriate sound system to happily cater for the size of the venue. In addition, all my pricing includes a standard setup and pack-down time required for pre-event preparation, my setup time is generally 1 hour in the case of standard events/parties and 2 hours for larger wedding equipment setups.
Do you provide event planning tools?
So, as part of my complete package, you get access to your own online event planner, putting you in control. You’ll get a unique link once you book with me. The planner allows the updating of any specific event requirements and keeping me in the loop on every detail, big or small, it’s all at your fingertips.
Within your online planner, you get access to my extensive music database, with over 100,000 songs, spanning all eras and genres, ensuring any/all music tastes are catered for at your party which you can use to create your own, and optional, dream playlist.
Outside of using the online planner i am very happy to work with your own playlist, or your guide to preferred music genres, and make sure any suggested songs are arranged to make a fantastic flowing playlist, in all cases always consulting with you about music and timing requirements, making sure that your party will be memorable for you and all your guests for the right reasons.

Is it straightforward to make a booking?
I pride myself on making bookings both easy and stress free, my entire booking system is seamlessly integrated with this website, I also have an online payment system which does allow for spreading payments by installments.
Once you have done an online instant quote and then contacted me to accept the costing of your selected disco or DJ package, i will make your instant quote live on the booking system, you will then receive an email containing a link to a contract form which you e-sign to accept the contract with it’s accompanying terms and conditions, done by simply typing your name into that form. You will then be automatically redirected to my online payment system to pay a non-refundable deposit (typically 25%) with the full amount payable 28 days prior to your event.

I play the music that you want at your individual event, i am an ‘Open-Format’ DJ which means i play a very wide range of music, for all age ranges, which is what you want at parties and weddings.
